Terms of service

These terms cover the BaLLM app and related services, provided by Metin Arslantürk. By using BaLLM, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The app’s license is also governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms do not replace that license or override mandatory consumer rights.

You must be at least 13 years old, and meet any higher age requirement that applies to you. If you are below the age of legal adulthood, a parent or guardian must permit your use. BaLLM uses a device-based account rather than an email/password login. Keep your device secure. Chat history is stored locally; changing devices, clearing app data, or uninstalling may result in its loss. We do not provide cloud chat recovery.

BaLLM helps with text conversations, writing, ideas, explanations, and questions about attached photos. Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or similar to responses received by others. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using or sharing them. The service is not a substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and must not be relied on for emergencies or high-stakes decisions.

The initial free allowance is 3 successful replies across your conversations, unless a different allowance is clearly shown in the app. Failed replies do not count as successful replies. After the allowance, a Premium subscription is required for further replies. Free replies are not an automatically converting subscription trial.

Premium is offered as weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions. The price, currency, billing period, and applicable offer terms are displayed before purchase. An annual plan is charged for the full annual period, not monthly. Prices and availability can differ by country.

Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before renewal; cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next renewal charge. Manage or cancel in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Eligible access generally continues through the paid period after cancellation. Deleting BaLLM, clearing chats, or deleting your account does not cancel billing.

Restore eligible purchases through Restore purchases on the paywall using the original Apple Account. Restoration does not recover chat history. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, subject to Apple’s policies and applicable law.

“Unlimited AI chat” means ongoing access to personal conversations with an active Premium subscription, rather than a fixed purchased message bundle. It does not mean unlimited computing resources. Technical limits on message length, context, attachments, request frequency, and service capacity apply. Reasonable rate limits, temporary restrictions, and abuse protections may be used to keep the service available. Automated bulk use, resale, credential sharing, and attempts to bypass allowances or safeguards are not permitted.

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You grant us and our service providers the limited permission needed to transmit and process it to provide the service. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to share submitted content. Do not use BaLLM for illegal activity, exploitation, harassment, malware, infringement of others’ rights, or attempts to compromise systems. Do not submit sensitive information unless you understand and accept the processing described in our privacy policy. Rights in generated outputs are subject to applicable law and third-party rights; uniqueness and copyright protection are not guaranteed.

We may update features or underlying technology and may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or material breaches of these terms. Service interruptions can occur. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without a promise that every response will be correct or that availability will be uninterrupted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits your mandatory consumer rights or remedies.

We may revise these terms and will provide notice of material changes where required. Applicable mandatory consumer protections, including rights available in your place of residence, remain unaffected. If you have an issue, contact us first so we can try to resolve it.
